SYNOPSIS
With the slightest task dogged by reminders of Dad, Mum struggles to stick to routine. But whilst Mum sinks into numb solitude, Amy's energy knows no bounds. Her daily play continues on, with Dad still in mind. With Mum lost to loss, Amy finds new freedom and seeks her own magical escape, one that ultimately has it's own perils.

Playing Ghost (2011) is a graduation film from the National Film and Television School in the UK. It is directed by Bianca Ansems and produced by Andrew Start. The film is made with stopmotion puppets. Playing Ghost was shot frame by frame with 3 puppets over 7 sets, using Canon 40D and the software Dragon Stopmotion.

The film premiered in the UK at the well-known Rushes Soho Shorts, and has since started it's festival tour around the world. It has shown o.a. atMontreal World Film Festival, Anima Mundi, and London International Animation Festival.
